Fondazione Nicola Del Roscio is a non-profit cultural project, based in the heart of Rome, open to the city and aimed at the global artistic scene, in the name of research and support for the arts of our time.
Nicola Del Roscio, president of the foundation of the same name that bears his name and of the Cy Twombly Foundation, New York wanted to share a new space with the city where contemporary creativity can be enhanced and narrated in an innovative way.
The program includes the production of original exhibitions by artists of international importance but still little known in Italy, together with a calendar of in-depth events with precious and unusual cinematographic, musical and literary proposals.
Particular attention is also paid to the themes of science, the environment and biodiversity, as is the tradition of Nicola Del Roscio Foundation, which has been involved for years in the management of the Botanical Garden of Monte Orlando in Gaeta, an interesting Italian experience of acclimatization and protection of subtropical flora, in particular palm trees, and the conservation of botanical species in danger of extinction in their places of origin.
